Who do I consider to be the Most Inspirational Female Role Model?

I could have chosen Malala. She embodies courage and grace and fearlessly tackles issues of human suffering.

I could have chosen Mother Teresa of Calcutta for helping the poor forgotten orphans demonstrating compassion and empathy.

I could have chosen Ruth Bader Ginsberg for all of her accomplishments and being a ground breaking role model for women when women weren't taken seriously.

After much consideration, I chose Kamala Harris. Apart from her gender and ethnicity as the daughter of Jamaican and Indian immigrants she's the first woman of color to serve as Vice President of the United States.

Kamala Harris grew up as any normal kid but what she always had was a goal. She focused on the steps of the ladder and methodically took the necessary course of action to achieve her goals. After graduating from law school, she entered public service as a Deputy Prosecutor at the Alameda County District Attorney's Office in California. Then went on to run for California State Attorney General. Kamala Harris was very popular with the people of California. Ms. Harris always demonstrated a high work ethic. She prosecuted many cases getting the bad guys off the streets of Los Angeles. A champion of the working class Ms. Harris once again ran for public office. This time it was for the Senate. In 2017, Kamala Harris won the Senatorial race. After serving a few years she decided to become a Presidential Candidate. Subsequently, she lost the 2020 Democratic Nomination to Joseph R. Biden. Mr. Biden would then choose Senator Kamala Harris as his Vice President.

The aforementioned chain of events shows a woman, who is confident, a leader, smart and hardworking. She represents the American Dream for millions. If you work hard and stay focused there is no limit to where you can be.

President Biden always includes Vice President Harris in meetings and decision making. She is a "hands-on" Vice President and fully capable, in my view, to assume the Role of President should any unforeseen event occur to President Biden.

That said, what I like about Kamala Harris' philosophy is she's happy with her achievements but continues to strive for bigger and better objectives in this land known as a "country" of possibilities.
