How did your experiences at Baruch College (e.g., academic studies, extra-curricular activities, student groups) prepare you for your career?
I didn’t participate in extracurricular activities because I worked for an investment management company full time. Our campus wasn’t designed the way it is now, so we didn’t have the student life presence that we have now. I learned how to network and to focus on my tasks because I had so much to do.
Today, what advice would you give to an undergraduate or graduate Baruch student interested in your field?
Learn, learn, learn as much as you can and as often as you can. Network effectively with the intent to share information with others. Have informational interviews in industries you’re interested in. And, teach, lead and inspire others whenever you learn something new and exciting!
